04/01/08 - Site finally complete!
We are pleased to announce that the friendsofjimcirone.org site is fully functional.
This site was created with 3 goals:
- Provide an easy way to help support the Cirone family in their time of need
- Create an online memorial to Jim Cirone.
- Raise awareness of Melanoma
While Jim's battle has ended, the Cirone family must go on. The outpouring of support has been humbling and we hope this site will keep us connected and continue to help the Cirone's for years to come.
We have a picture album, guestbook and discussion forum that can be updated with stories and memories from visitors to the site.
Register to upload photos. You must register in both Discussion and Photo Album in order to contribute. We also ask that you resize your photo files before uploading. There is a 1MB limit to the image files you can upload. A width of 800 px is ideal for web viewing and will save a lot of space. Click http://friendofjimcirone.org/resize/index.php to resize your files.
This utility will save a new file back to your PC that can easily uploaded. In Photo Album, move the mouse over the "@" tab to show Login, Upload File, and Register links.
